Now this my fellow weebs is how you start a damn season. I was absolutely not in the mood for watching the premiere of the new season yet as soon as it started I went in full fanboy mode.
Don’t ask me why, I wasn’t in the mood, I don’t remember but that’s not the point. The point is that My Hero Academia has once again managed to invigorate our interest superbly. That is not to say that MHA needs any more hype but having an excellently structured premiere can only do it good. As is tradition for this anime, we are reintroduced to the characters and their quirks as well as getting up to speed with where the story left off from last season, neatly. We are also presented with a main plot point of the season by the end of this first episode. All wrapped up nicely with a bow. Isn’t that pleasant?
Even if you are not a fan of Boku no Hero Academia or simply not a fan of this type of shounen, you absolutely cannot deny the work that’s been put into making this anime. The quality is more than a good reason to keep watching it. However, in case you are fans of Deku, All Might and all the students of class 1-A then you know that this new season -much like the previous four- will be a spectacle and the highlight of your week for the following months. MHA has not yet failed to deliver and it will most definitely not start now.
