Singer Suzuki Konomi on hiatus for vocal cord surgery<span class="wtr-time-wrap block after-title"><span class="wtr-time-number">1</span> min read</span>

Suzuki Konomi announced last Friday on twitter that she will be resting for a few months in order to get surgical treatment for vocal cord nodules.

She wrote that she has been suffering from the problem for four years and that she finally made the decision to have surgery in order to keep singing for a long time from now.

Suzuki also announced that she is planning to return to her singing activities on January 31st at Animax Musix event at Ariake Arena in Tokyo.

Suzuki Konomi has performed tie-ups for anime such as No Game No Life, Watamote and Re:Zero among others.
